Well, this site wouldn't be complete without you knowing a little about us, our philosophies on mule-raising, and our commitment to our mules and those who give them new homes.

We Love Mules! We will not knowingly sell a mule to anyone that we feel is not a ''match'' for that animal. We feel it is important that the mule you choose for yourself... also chooses you! We say that because mule personalities differ and it's important to us that you and your mule bond to each other so that you enjoy a long and rewarding partnership.

Speaking of commitment, just so you know how committed we are, please review our Mission Statement:

"Our goal is to raise affordable mules from quality breeding stock selected for temperament, usability and conformation whose progeny will develop into useful, reliable working animals that will enlighten the public to the benefits of mule ownership."

Ron and Denise, have a mixture of mares including Quarter Horse, Percheron, and other draft and light horse crosses. The draft cross mares produce some very awesome babies, with the quiet nature from the draft side of the mare and the beauty of the light horse breeds. Combined with the agility and narrower body of their daddy, the Mammoth Jack, these babies grow into mules with great dispositions, and the good bone, size, and strength to do any job. We generally have a good selection of mules to choose from in breeding and color.

We both try and attend as many "mule events" as possible, including personal involvement in the Alberta Donkey and Mule Club. Marlene particularly involves herself in many club activities including the organizing of Tees Longears Days, a long running Mule and Donkey show held annually the third weekend in August at Tees, Alberta, which is about 18 miles east of Lacombe, Alberta. To find out more about the Alberta Donkey and Mule Club or about Tees Longears Days, please feel free to contact Marlene at (403) 783-5210 or email her or visit the club website at www.albertadonkeyandmule.com
